Which Areas Does LESCO Cover? Districts, Boundaries and Neighbouring DISCOs
Pakistan's grid is split among regional distribution companies, and "which company am I under?" matters more than it first seems: it decides which portal shows your bill, which office handles your complaint, and whose helpline you call in an outage. LESCO's slice is the centre of Punjab — five districts wrapped around Lahore. Here is the map in words, and what the boundary does and does not change.
The five districts
- Lahore — the entire metropolis and the district around it; LESCO's headquarters and by far its largest concentration of consumers.
- Kasur — south of Lahore down to the border belt.
- Sheikhupura — the industrial district to the north-west, including its factory corridors.
- Nankana Sahib — carved out of Sheikhupura, west of Lahore.
- Okara — the agricultural district further south-west.
Within these districts LESCO operates through a hierarchy of circles, divisions and sub-divisions — the sub-division (printed on your bill) is the office that actually maintains your connection and takes your complaints, which is why every recovery procedure on this site, from a lost reference number to an arrears correction, ends with "visit your sub-division office".

Boundary towns produce genuine confusion — a Pattoki address is LESCO (Kasur district) while Sahiwal, one district on, is MEPCO. If a portal rejects a reference number that looks perfectly formed, being on the wrong DISCO's portal is a real possibility.
How to confirm your distributor in seconds
- Look at the bill. The company's name and logo are printed at the top; the sub-division field narrows it to an office.
- Try the portal. Your 14-digit reference number resolves on LESCO's PITC page only if LESCO bills you — a valid-looking number that returns nothing on one DISCO's page may belong to the neighbour.
- Ask the meter installer or landlord. For a new tenancy with no bill in hand, whoever handled the connection knows the company; the demand notice names it too.
What the territory does NOT change
The tariff. Slab rates, FPA, duty and GST come from NEPRA notifications and federal policy, so a 300-unit residential bill is built the same way in Lahore as in Faisalabad — our per-unit price guide and estimator apply the same national residential structure. What differs between companies is operational: outage schedules, complaint handling, connection times, and which office door you knock on. The company on your bill decides who serves you; the regulator decides what a unit costs.

Is Sahiwal under LESCO?
No — Sahiwal district is MEPCO territory. LESCO's south-western edge is Okara district; from Sahiwal onward through southern Punjab the distributor is MEPCO, with its own portal page for bills.
Which company covers Sheikhupura's industrial estates?
LESCO. Sheikhupura district, including its industrial corridors, is one of LESCO's five districts — though large industrial connections are billed on industrial tariffs rather than the residential slabs this site's estimator covers.
Does it matter which DISCO I am under for the bill amount?
For the tariff itself, no — NEPRA notifies the rate structure nationally. The distributor determines service matters: which portal and office serve you, outage management, and how quickly complaints and new connections are processed.
My town is on the boundary. How do I know if I'm LESCO or GEPCO?
Check the logo on any bill for your address, or test the 14-digit reference number on each company's PITC portal page — it resolves only on the company that actually bills the connection. The demand notice for the connection also names the company.
